In vain are efforts, while world fails to support my (our) cause. Liberal upbringing has been key to individualistic thought process. While young, fertile minds are sown with seeds of thoughts, to be who you want to be and in the process cause no damage to society one resides in. Progressive thoughts have brought clarity and openness to life, yet a large portion of these thoughts and willingness to act on one's own accord, is greatly coerced by society one lives in. Compulsive stances of the world, deviate innate thinking abilities in an individual. The confusion prevails, whether to be a selfless or selfish. Realization of who one is or want to be, dawns on the individual not at once, I believe it is a continuos process, more so like Darwin's theory of evolution. One takes a long time to evolve to be a good human. There is no predefined checklist to know how good every human being is. It is not be determined or to be judged by anybody else, but by him/herself alone.
World will have its ways to look at you. Being judgmental about anything and everything is more like birth right. No one needs to be blessed with this vice in a man, From the Era of Adam, Eve or Manu guidelines are drawn to think, behave and act in predestined format. Just like those chemicals in the Labs. Every scientist probably knows how any chemical composition would behave in a given environment. Same applies to we human beings as well. Difference is that each one of us are self professed scientist drawing our conclusions about everything. which is relevant or irrelevant. We voice out our opinion about every thing beginning from Global warming to next door neighbors dog been stolen. We probably feel connected to everything which is outside of us. But gravely fail to understand or voice out our opinions about what is within us.
Lately world has come to fancy the macro view of every problem. The abyss of these issues or concerns remains untouched. If an effort is made to understand the same, we probably would find that the mammoth problem we need to address is driven or triggered off by an individual. The vulnerability of that individual reflects in his act, influences his/her decision. This act is mostly compelled by the world around him/her and the way it has been treating him/her. It becomes necessary for us look within us more often than we look around us. Change is required, not for others but for us. A small effort to understand bleak difference between selfless and selfish is what we lack. While I write this, I know I am being a hypocrite. Cos amidst all this thought, I am voicing my opinion and being judgmental about the world and its ways. I take a little step today, to look within myself and be less opinionated and non judgmental of things outside of me, if that would make a difference.
